I have been feeling disconnected and overwhelmed for some time now, largely due to borderline depression and life’s challenges. However, during my time in Lagos, Nigeria, I rediscovered a sense of belonging and comfort. Lagos truly feels like home to me. It provided me with a much-needed escape and mental clarity. I want to share some of the highlights and outfits I wore during my stay in Lagos, as they hold special significance for me. Simply Jaelicious has become a home to me too, and I sometimes forget that my initial goal was to document my life through style. But now, I am reminded of the importance of intertwining my personal journey with my passion for fashion.
