POETRY

FIGHT ME!

BY: Jael Providence
I stopped running.
I stopped hiding.
My feet hit the ground, weary and wounded.
I am tired of running.
I am tired of hiding.
I hit the ground running every time.
I am ready to fight you.
I’m tired of running.
I’m out of breath.
I have nowhere else to run.
With my pride on my sleeves and my emotions masked.
I’m tired of running so I’ll stay.
When I feel the need I’ll catch a flight, but for now I’ll stay.
I’m tired of running.
Fight me!

That’s all for now, until next time stay fabu-lous!
Peace, love and happy shopping

You can run but you can't hide. Stay and fight your demons, I say.
