HOW DO I SAY THIS?

If hard work was the key to success I doubt that many people will be unsuccessful. If hard work was the key to happiness I doubt that many of us would be unhappy. If hard work was the key to riches I doubt that many of us would be poor. If hard work was the key to being fulfilled I doubt that many of us would unfulfilled. We have been scammed! We were told that if we worked hard enough, studied hard enough, hustled hard enough that we’ll be able to attain a certain lifestyle.

It’s 2020 and the simple fact that we do not have a system that equally distributes wealth is a problem. The rich are only interested in getting richer while the poor are fed lies to meet up. The wealth gap is not only disgusting, its inhumane. There are no permanent solutions to fix the problems at hand because the problems do not pose a threat to those in charge. Every four years we are told to go to the polls and vote. Most times the people we’re voting for have no idea what our realities are. The rich are so out of touch with reality that they don’t know what the common people want. They make it seem like we’re needy, whiny or just darn right problematic.

Every time you turn on your television there’s always ads telling you who to vote for and who is going to change the economy or the trajectory of your life and blah blah blah. I don’t think we have fully come to terms with the fact that we have one, ruined our planet with global warming, widen the gap of wealth distribution, fuel the fire of racial tension and completely ignored the epidemic that is rape crimes. We have a lot to address, a lot to fix and a lot to give attention. So now more than ever who we vote for matters. Not because this one person or this one administration is going to change four years of damage or change the economy in the snap of a finger. We need to vote for somebody that is not going to make the situation worse or ruin the future for our children. I personally don’t have that much faith in any human being but for the sake of hope I’ll say vote.
