MY CANDYTOPIA EXPERIENCE
If I didn’t know any better I would think this place only existed in the walls of my imagination. My love for candy is unmatched and just unexplainable. About a month ago one of my friends mention Candytopia opening at the mall of America. As the annoying and unserious people we are we planned to go but my life kept getting in the way. My schedule is so ridiculous it’s not even funny. Fast forward to my birthday… I planned to go with my other friend but as usual that didn’t work out because my life right?… I finally went a week ago.
when I first walked through the doors of this magical dreamland I had the urge to stuff all the candy in my purse and just say eff it to the tour guide. I somehow managed to contain myself through the introductions and basic explanations. The entire museum tour consisted of fourteen rooms… mind you I only counted four… wypipo?. The first room was a clock room, kinda like a time machine. The only interesting thing about it was the clock full of candy. We were instructed to take one but I managed to sneak a few, I gotta have my money’s worth! America is not easy yo!
We went through colorful hallways, confetti rooms, diamond iced out rooms, sky room, Prince and his guitar room and finally the marshmallow pit room. I got in as many pictures as I could, money must not go to waste sha. I left the museum with my tiny bag stuffed with candy. Cavities are for dentists to fix, I must enjoy this life. Can not come and kill myself. ??
My overall Candytopia experience was a ball! I would do it all again in a heartbeat. Now I’m spending my days scolding myself for eating too much candy. It’s nothing serious though because I still eat more the next day. ?
