First of all I promised myself I wouldn’t be extra when I write this post but who am I kidding? lol. It’s who I am, “Extra Jael”. I feel so happy, I’m on cloud 9. It’s so frustrating when people don’t recognize your hard work. Sometimes I would write a 400 word post and over 300-400 people would read it and then one person comments.. sometimes an irrelevant ass comment. Then sometimes after I link all the items in the post people would randomly email me asking where I got this or where I got that… face palm. It’s annoying because I feel like I’m not being heard and then something great happens… like this! And then I feel like it’s all worth it. All the stupid comments, hate emails and sleepless nights. I love you guys so much, thank you for keeping Simply Jaelicious going. I know I should keep this short but this is for every girl that has every felt left out or like she wasn’t enough. Greater things are ahead with God by your side. Chao Bitches!!

MY ANSWERS TO THE QUESTIONS
- What’s your zodiac sign?
I’m not too into zodiac signs but my birth month is March. You know what they say us March people. We’re very humble, kind and goal oriented.
- Do you prefer board games or video games?
If Ludo counts as board games then yes.
- What activity takes the most of your time?
Well… I am a full time student right now so I spend my entire day at school but if I’m not at school then I’ll be at church, if not then I’m home probably writing or replying to your comments on social media or on here.
- Did your friends and family give you their support when you started your blog?
Actually when I first started blogging I kept it a secret for a while. My little sister and my mom were the only ones that knew. I was embarrassed because at the time NOBODY was blogging… I mean nobody!! I just kept thinking what would people say if they found out I was the face behind this blog so I just kept it a secret until I felt comfortable revealing myself.
- What do you plan to spend the money you’re making from your blog on?
Lolll… *side eye* food? Lol I’m just kidding, right now whatever I make from this blog I use it to invest in advertising and branding. My goal is for Simply Jaelicious to be a brand that caters to girls who are looking for a headstart in a creative career.
- If you go back in time, would you still start a blog knowing all the positive and negative aspects of blogging?
100% yes!! I always tell myself if I knew this would be my outlet or form of coping magnetism then I would have started blogging sooner than I did.
- Would you rather party on Ibiza or climb Mount Everest?
We all know I’m not really a physical person soo you won’t catch me climbing mount Everest… unless I get marry to a really outdoorsy person..And I don’t really party either so it’s a no too.
- What’s the most recent foreign country you’ve visited?
I have not travelled to anywhere outside the United States since I moved here. It’s sad! But I really want to go back to Ghana or Liberia… even if it’s for a day.
- Have you ever been nominated for and/or won other blogging awards?
Loll… Can you tell it’s my first time? lol just kidding. I got a foreign fashion blogger award 2 years ago. I was even more extra then.
- What’s your favorite thing about your blog?
I love that my audience is so diversed and that we all come from different walks of life but just connect with my stupidness lol.
- Are you, so far, proud and satisfied with your blog’s progress?
I am extremely proud of the progress I have made so far, there’s a few things I hope to change before the end of this year but other than that I am very happy with everything.
